FAQs

  • What is the best time of day to schedule a shoot?
The best approach is to consider the direction the front of the home faces. If it faces east then a shoot at or before noon is best. For homes facing west, it is best to shoot noon or later so that the front of the home is not in shade. For interior shot, all times of day can make for beautiful shots as we shoot multiple exposures and blend them to ensure we get are able to shoot under any lighting conditions.
  • When will my photoshoot be confirmed?
We will make our best attempt to confirm your order within 24-48 hours of placing your order. If booking for next day we will confirm ASAP. If you're booking over a week in advance, we may wait until approximately 1 week prior to the photoshoot to confirm the time to avoid impacting our team with any potential date change requests we have seen happen when booking far in advance.
  • Will I be charged a fee for changing my shoot date?
If a date change is requested prior to the shoot no fee is assessed. If our photographer has arrived and found that the home is not ready to be photographed a $50 fee will be assessed to cover the photographers time
  • What needs to be done to the property prior to the photoshoot?
Please see our Pre-Shoot Checklist for a full breakdown on preparing the home for the best photos possible. Pre-Shoot Checklist
  • Do I need to be at the property for the photoshoot?
If access is provided via Supra or combo lock box it is not necessary for anyone to be at the property, though it is always preferred to have someone prep the home in advance to ensure that the home is exactly how you want it from bedding, pillows, staging, and window coverings. We will not be responsible for photographs having something out of place if no one is present.
  • How long does the photoshoot take?
Typical residential homes take 1-2 hours, but based on SF and additional services such as aerial, video and 3D tours a session can last up to 5+ hours.
  • How far will you travel for a shoot?
Our primary coverage areas that do NOT incur travel fee are Lago Vista, Cedar Park, Leander, Round Rock, and approximately 15 miles surrounding 78757 zip code. If you are alerted that your property is outside our service areas, please contact us and we may be able to make some exceptions.A flat rate fee will be applied to surrounding areas extending beyond the areas described.
  • What if it's raining?
In most cases we are prepared to shoot on light rain days, but if the forecast calls for heavy rains we will work with you to reschedule your shoot for a better day. If a shoot is rescheduled in advance no fee will be charged. If overcast is a concern, we provide a blue sky replacement for all exterior photography at no charge!
